As a business you have to treat your staff from time to time. It can be fundamental to the overall moral and happiness of your staff, and therefore is fundamental to the overall success of your business. A happy work team is a good one, so of course the best way to treat them is to throw a staff party and then bring in the stylish and delicious dining of Hog Roast Ilminster.
That was the thinking of Pardoes Solicitors, who last week celebrated their summer staff party in the brilliance of The Cider Barn at the Dillington Estate Office, with catering from Hog Roast Ilminster. With the sun out and the Pardoes Solicitor team all looking great, it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon at one of the most beautiful spots in all of Ilminster and Somerset.
Knowing that we had to match up to all of that, it was up to Hog Roast Ilminster catering manager Chris to provide a menu that suited the occasion perfectly. When you’ve got sun and good summer vibes, you need to go for an antipasti platter service. It’s how they do it out on the Med, and they know a thing or two about relaxing out in the sun with good foods. Made up in a beautiful and colourful arrangement on our rustic serving platters, our antipasti consists of the finest slices of prosciutto Parma ham, salamis, with buffalo mozzarella, parmigiano, gorgonzola, artisan breads of herb focaccia, ciabatta, bread sticks, and zesty dipping oils of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
For the 40 staff members of Pardoes Solicitors, our signature hog roast was to follow. Cooked in the authentic spit style there on the day at Cider Barn and served up with fresh sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, apple sauce, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, tomato and mozzarella salad, gourmet slaw, mixed leaves, and a mix of regular and sweet potato fries, this was a perfect feast for the Pardoes team to relax with and enjoy their summer party. If that wasn’t quite enough for the relaxing summer vibes, then our tarte au citron and handmade profiteroles were surely the thing to push it over!
