There’s No Need To Stress Over Your Wedding Menu – Leave It To Hog Roast Frome!

Choosing your wedding menu is one of those decisions that seems simple at first… until you actually sit down to do it. Suddenly you’re juggling opinions from family, trying to cater for every dietary requirement under the sun, and wondering how on earth you’re meant to pick just a few dishes for one of the biggest days of your life.

The good news is it doesn’t have to be the thing that keeps you up at night.

Hog Roast Frome has been doing this for over 30 years, which means we’ve seen every kind of brief, every dietary requirement, every vision of what the perfect wedding spread looks like – and we know how to make it happen without the stress landing on you. We’ve put together a range of wedding menus that work as a starting point, all of them fully customisable so you’re not locked into anything that doesn’t feel right. And if none of them quite fit? We’ll build something from scratch around what you actually want. No faff, no pushy upselling. Just good food, sorted simply.

Charlie and Dora, though – they didn’t need much deliberating at all. They saw the hog roast menu, said that’s the one, and that was that. 120 guests on the 23rd of May, and our team delivered.

The hog went on early, as it always does – hours of low, slow cooking until the meat was doing that thing where it practically falls apart on contact and the crackling has gone properly deep and golden. Served up with sage and onion stuffing and applesauce alongside, guests could pile everything into soft rolls or wraps and build their own sandwiches.

Hog Roast Frome came in strong with the sides too. Tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed leaves, coleslaw and a mix of sweet potato and classic fries – the latter of which were basically a delivery vehicle for the Sauce Shop selection we had on offer. Nobody was dipping sparingly, let’s put it that way.

For the plant-based guests, BBQ pulled jackfruit sliders with hickory seasoning. Rich, smoky and satisfying enough that several meat-eaters were sneaking them off the platter by the end.
