Thirty-odd years in the events game is no small feat, and we’re properly proud that Hog Roast Yeovil has ended up as one of the names people in Somerset actually trust, whatever the size of the do. But there’s another thing that’s made this job so much easier over the years, and it’s not just our clients, though obviously they matter most.
Anyone who’s followed us a while knows we go on about how much we appreciate the people who book us – we genuinely wouldn’t be here without them. But there’s a whole cast of others behind the scenes who deserve just as much credit. The local farmers and greengrocers who keep us stocked with fresh, quality ingredients. And the venues who’ve partnered with us year after year, building the kind of trust that makes planning an event feel a lot less overwhelming for hosts. North Cadbury Court is a perfect example of that.
It’s a proper country estate: big, old, full of character in the way only places with real history can manage. Lawns cut to within an inch of their life, a tennis court, a golf setup up on the roof of all places, and somewhere down in the basement there’s even a disco and a casino. You could quite happily never leave.
Every time we work here, we’re reminded exactly why that is – and we got another reminder of it on the 10th of August, when we catered a wedding for a couple who’d chosen North Cadbury Court for their big day.
