Earlier in February, Hog Roast Keynsham catered for Lauren and Pierre’s wedding, which took place at the Elmgrove Centre in Bristol. Lauren contacted our catering manager Alistair to arrange catering for 120 guests, with something for everyone to enjoy. The couple wanted to enjoy a formal meal as part of their big day, including 4 courses of delicious catering. Our formal wedding dining package was the ideal choice!
The event began with canapés, which were served as the guests arrived at the venue. The couple chose 4 delicious dishes to enjoy, which were served by expert waiting staff.
Following this, the guests were seated to enjoy our sharing antipasti platters. The platters are a classic alfresco dish and consist of a selection of gourmet meats, cheeses, and salads. They are a great option for weddings and ensure that there is a dish that everyone can enjoy by combining a variety of tastes and textures.
The main course was a Hog Roast Keynsham speciality, including a slow roasted hog and all of the trimmings. For the side dishes we prepared new potatoes with herbs and butter, as well as a green leaf salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, and crunchy coleslaw.
We finished the menu by serving tarte au citron and chocolate torte, which were both served with fresh fruit and English cream. These are delicious desserts and were a great way to end the meal.
