Hog Roast Bristol Celebrates Love with Pippa & Phil’s Wedding Feast

Hog Roast BristolOn the 26th of July, the team at Hog Roast Bristol had the honour of catering for a truly beautiful celebration, the wedding of Pippa and Phil, held in the vibrant city of Bristol. With 50 guests gathered to toast the happy couple, the atmosphere was filled with love, laughter, and the unmistakable scent of a hog roast done right.
Our Catering Manager Alistair and his team were on-site to deliver a feast that matched the occasion: elegant, satisfying, and full of flavour. The centrepiece of the day was our whole roasted pig, slow-cooked until the meat was fall-apart tender and the crackling golden and crisp. Served buffet style, guests were treated to generous helpings alongside our signature apple sauce and traditional sage and onion stuffing, classic pairings that never fail to please.
Fresh bread rolls and wraps, including gluten-free options, offered the perfect vessel for the roast, while our carefully selected sides brought colour and freshness to the table. The tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed leaves, and creamy coleslaw balanced the richness of the pork perfectly, with our herb-dressed new potatoes rounding off the spread in delicious style.
Hog Roast BristolOf course, we made sure no guest was left out. Our homemade vegan pulled jackfruit, slow-cooked in a smoky hickory BBQ sauce and topped with crunchy slaw in a soft bun, was a hit among non-meat eaters and carnivores alike.
Everything was served on sustainable bamboo crockery with wooden cutlery, in keeping with the relaxed and stylish summer wedding vibe. Alistair and the team made sure the buffet ran smoothly, giving the couple and their guests plenty of time to enjoy the day without a hitch.
It was a joy to be part of Pippa and Phil’s special day, and we were delighted to contribute to the memories with food that brought people together.
To Pippa and Phil, thank you for choosing Hog Roast Bristol, and here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and many more meals to remember!
