Hog Roast Midsomer Norton – Your Local Expert Catering Team

When Hog Roast Midsomer Norton caters for your party or event, it’s with gorgeous food that we make out of fresh, local, high-quality ingredients, from the meat that we source from trusted suppliers of farmers and butchers, right down to the sauces and bread rolls that we choose to use. We’ve spent many years catering for special occasions both locally and further afield, and we know how important the food served is to our customers and their guests, in terms of taste, smell and presentation; that’s why one of our hog roast centrepieces is always a sight for sore eyes, has fantastic aromas and tastes like nothing else.

Hog Roast Midsomer NortonFor a private party that Nathan planned for his friends, he asked Hog Roast Midsomer Norton to cook a traditional hog roast as part of a winter warmer, which we provide in the colder months. We can warm you and your guests up in no time at all with your choice of hot, fresh meat, seasonal vegetables and potatoes, as well as trimmings, and with a hog roast winter warmer, this means sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce and onion gravy – all three being our own homemade treats. Nathan selected sweet potato mash, carrots, peas and sweetcorn to be served alongside the meat and trimmings, and also asked us what else we could provide, as he wanted to ensure that everyone had enough to eat on the day. Hog Roast Midsomer Norton can actually provide so much more than you might imagine, including various handmade canapés, hot and cold side dishes, starters, desserts and plenty of alternatives to cater for special diets, and Nathan decided on two sides to add to his menu – our homemade coleslaw and a Greek salad.

On the day of the party, our chef arrived at Nathan’s home, ready to set up our equipment and prepare the meat for its roasting. For this small gathering, our chef could easily cater by himself, and once the pig was sizzling away, he just needed to watch over it for hours before having to work on the rest of the food.

By 5pm, the guests arrived to a lovely homemade feast and they all happily dug in.
