Earlier this year, a local school contacted Hog Roast Exton to arrange catering for their annual Halloween fair. Every year, the school hosts a day of Halloween events for pupils to enjoy, including a disco, party games, crafts, and movies. To make the day even more fun, the usual school dinner is being substituted for a delicious barbeque provided by Hog Roast Exton, as this is an ideal menu for younger guests to enjoy. Our Gourmet BBQ menu includes a wide selection of main dishes and plenty to go around the 120 children and staff members.
In preparation for the event, we planned our menu and serving times to ensure that we would have everything under control at the venue. For the main dishes, we planned to serve juicy British beef burgers, succulent pork sausages, tasty veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. The mains would be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the side dishes, the guests will be able to enjoy crunchy coleslaw, corn on the cob, seasonal veggies, and homemade chips. This menu has everything needed to create a varied and tasty lunch, allowing every child to create a perfect meal from what we have to offer. Not only will our menu be a great change from school dinners, but it will also still be providing all the necessary nutrients needed to keep the children fuelled for the rest of the event!
