February is in full swing and we are excited to have so many bookings flying in, already. The team at Hog Roast Crewkerne love being busy and the variety that comes with our bookings, it means that no event is ever the same. So, whether you are planning to throw a winter party, celebrate a February or March birthday, or just plan to have an impromptu get-together, Hog Roast Crewkerne has a menu for you.
Last week, the Hog Roast Crewkerne team helped Charlie celebrate his 25th birthday. In the early stages, Charlie got in touch with our catering manager and explained his birthday plans to throw a party at his house. His garden was prepped and ready for us to arrive, even with the wintery weather we were still full steam ahead. We assured Charlie that this was not a problem as we could set up gazebos to cook and serve under, but once cooked we could serve indoors if that was preferred to keep everybody warm!
With the gazebos up and ready, our expert chef cooked and prepared our gourmet BBQ menu, with a selection of beef burgers, sausages, chicken kebabs and spareribs. Our meat-free alternative was our famous grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which are so tempting even meat eaters can’t resist them. For the birthday boy and his guests, the skewers were a favourite! To complement the main dishes, we served a Greek salad, our famous coleslaw and a mixture of sweet potato fries and freshly made chips.
The BBQ menu is a great choice if you are throwing an informal event and want to keep it feeling casual but still serve quality food. It is especially fitting if you want to avoid any disruption to the flow of your evening that comes with a sit-down meal. Let the party go on with a burger in one hand and a beverage in the other!
