Hog roasting is a timeless art that Hog Roast Shepton Mallet has spent the last 20-some years honouring, refining and sharing with the wonderful people of Somerset. We do this in a number of ways, the first, and most obvious, is through catering for events. But as well as showing off our own talents, we are deeply committed to helping others realise theirs. So, in addition to offering fully catered services, we are proud to rent out and even sell our machines to interested individuals for a price that’s fair.
For us, it’s always a great day when we get to encourage someone to take up hog roasting and keep the age-old cooking method alive and relevant, whether it be as a hobby, a career or a mix of both! And over the years, we have been delighted to see many of our machines off to their new homes.
Just last week, our catering manager, Alistair, dropped one of our Titan machines off with Tommy and Kirstin, who had been looking for a new way to make their private glamping site more appealing for visitors. Expanding on their luxury lodges and hot tubs, the couple had come up with the idea of incorporating an engaging cooking option, which led them to discover Hog Roast Shepton Mallet, and right away, they were impressed with the selection of machines we have available.
Our specialist catering equipment, which is designed and manufactured in our UK factory, is the result of decades of hard work, and each Hog Roast Shepton Mallet machine outrivals all others on the market, making our devices the most coveted in Europe. Built to the highest standards, these lean, mean machines are designed to last many years when properly cared for – and you can bet we’ve made them easy to care for! Wiping down the stainless steel after each use doesn’t take much in the way of elbow grease, and with our annual servicing option, it’s easy to keep your device in tip-top shape for as long as possible.
For Tommy and Kirstin, our Titan had been exactly what they had been searching for. And not only were they thrilled with the price, but they were pleased when Alistair delivered the machine with gas canisters and gave them a tutorial on using the machine.
So far, the pair have been getting on brilliantly with the Titan and already it’s proving to be a fantastic attraction for their visitors.
