For some couples, their dream wedding ceremony takes place abroad or is an intimate occasion with few guests. Following these events, there is a great opportunity to host a big party to celebrate with friends and family that weren’t able to attend the ceremony. Hog Roast Bath has plenty of menus that are perfect for this kind of party, including our Southern Slow menu.In September, Alistair and the Hog Roast Bath team catered for a great post-wedding event for Jess and Jack, who were lucky enough to tie the knot in Las Vegas! Upon their return, the couple planned an amazing celebration to enjoy with 100 of their friends and family, along with a delicious catering menu served by our team. For the catering, it was decided that our delicious Southern Slow menu would be perfect since it includes a wide variety of dishes and is sure to have more than enough to go around.
To ensure that our catering was perfect, every dish was prepared on-site at Compton House Cricket Club. For the main dishes, we provided juicy Cajun chicken, tender minted lamb, and mouthwatering Bourbon beef. Each main dish was slow-cooked to perfection to ensure that they were packed full of the rich, hearty flavours that our team are known for. We also provided fresh bread rolls and wraps, as well as a selection of side dishes. The guests could enjoy homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a fresh green leaf salad, which was perfect for creating a varied and nutritious buffet menu. Our catering was a great addition to an already amazing event, and the Hog Roast Bath is so grateful to Jess and Jack for letting our team be a part of the celebrations! There can never be too many wedding celebrations as far as our team is concerned!
