Hog Roast Wedmore – Service For the Beginning of a Hen Party

As a wedding caterer Hog Roast Wedmore likes to offer our customers as many options as possible for their wedding services. That includes dining services that don’t even happen on the special day itself, as we can also add in breakfasts for the morning before or after, or, in the case like we had this past week, we can conduct your hen and stag services as well!

Even though stag and hen dos are often all about going out clubbing and drinking, it can be nice to start the evening or weekend off with a sit-down meal before all of the chaos really begins. At Hog Roast Wedmore, we are more than happy to do this part for you; we can provide a set course dinner for all your hens, or lay out a delicious buffet in your hotel so that you can carb up before a long night ahead – as well as leave behind plenty of leftovers for that much needed late-night snack once you return from the town! As for the chaos, well, you can bring that along to the dining too, if you want…

The girls of Isla Kelsie’s hen certainly brought plenty of early night chaos with them to our hen service for them. The girls were visiting Wedmore for the weekend last week to celebrate Isla’s upcoming wedding in November, and in proper hen style the day had already got off to a raucous start and looked assured to continue after our set course dining for them. Fortunately, after a day of seeing the sights around town and booze cruising through the streets, Hog Roast Wedmore could offer a little touch of refreshment to help them recharge for the rest of the night ahead. Our hog and lamb roast options are perfect for just that, along with a choice of roast potatoes or buttered new potatoes, fresh heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, seasonal roast veg, and glazed carrots. For the sweet tooth’s in the party (of which there were plenty) there was also a follow up dessert of sticky toffee pudding, fresh cream and fruit, or cheesecake.

We had a blast with the girls, and we hear they had an excellent night after our service. We only hope our leftovers did the job when they returned home!
