After a Coronation Bank Holiday weekend last week this weekend Hog Roast got a little more “punk” with our work as we headed out to Taunton Rugby Club to showcase our services for wedding goers at the Pretty and Punk Somerset Wedding show. Pretty and Punk are a wedding planning partner of ours who specialise in finding their customers a more unique, out of the box, style of wedding service for their special day. They have pulled together a long list of various wedding vendors each which offer unique and stylish services, and we at Hog Roast Somerset are delighted be considered as part of the team.
To showcase some of the local vendors for weddings in Somerset the big Pretty and Punk show had partners out in force showing off their goods to guests over the course of the Sunday afternoon on the 14th. We had our Hog Roast Somerset team out chatting to customers, offering guidance on our services and menus, pulling in bookings and future calls, and even handing out free hog roast samples too – because there’s no better way to draw in the crowd and show off your work than letting finely roasted pork do all the talking!
It was an excellent afternoon not just for guests, but for our Hog Roast Somerset team too who loved soaking in the incredible atmosphere of the place. Between giveaways, competitions, live music, free glasses of fizz on entry and takeaway goodie bags there was so much to keep the place abuzz. As a caterer for weddings and other formal occasions we were delighted to be able to talk to customers looking for our services and gather in a whole new list of customers and events for the coming year and even beyond. Even for those that didn’t have an immediate wedding to plan we were still able to chat about other events and get them sorted with a Hog Roast Somerset menu plan for their next big occasion. An excellent day all around.
