Happy Wedding Season, Love Hog Roast Bruton!

Hog Roast BrutonWith wedding season now in full swing, Hog Roast Bruton has been here, there and everywhere recently, helping couples to fulfil their dream weddings – and we wouldn’t change it for the world!

Getting to attend as many nuptials as we do is one of the greatest perks of the job for all of us here at Hog Roast Bruton. The atmosphere at these events is always splendid, and there’s no better feeling than when we are able to alleviate a couple’s wedding-related stress by providing them with a smooth and problem-free catering service.

The sense of accomplishment we feel after we’ve pulled off a wedding reception and made a couple proud on the most important day of their life is second to none. So, when Becca and Murray asked if we would do them the honour of catering for their big day, we were absolutely ecstatic!

The couple had a very particular vision in mind for their wedding day and they wanted a menu that matched the tone and style of what they were picturing perfectly. Since Hog Roast Bruton has a broad choice of dining plans to choose from, including the option to build entirely bespoke menus from scratch, it didn’t take long for our catering manager, Alistair, to find the right menu for the day.

Hog Roast BrutonOur Alfresco Wedding Menu was the most suitable choice for Becca and Murray’s big day and customising the menu to further suit their tastes, Hog Roast Bruton included a selection of vegetarian-friendly canapé options, consisting of mini pizzas, mini quiche and an assortment of Indian snacks.

Hog Roast Bruton’s serving staff presented these canapes to guests as they arrived, after which they found their seats and were welcome to dig into the Italian antipasti platters we had arranged for each table. Rich cheeses, deli meats, olives, sun dried tomatoes and artisan breads were perfect for tiding the guests over until it was time for the main course!

On this occasion, guests were free to choose from hog roast rolls with crackling, stuffing and applesauce, or grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs, which were each presented with a choice of side salads, roasted new potatoes and vegan ‘slaw.

Our final job of the day was serving the desserts. Profiteroles and summer pudding were the perfect conclusion to this meal and everyone headed off to the dance floor with full bellies and a smile on their face!
