For the staff over at Bryanston School, the excitement of Easter didn’t end with egg hunts, delicious chocolate treats and a much-needed break from work. For them, the fun was only just getting started! Because, as a way of thanking them for all of their hard work and dedication, Mandie, who is the school’s headmaster, had organised an entire afternoon of fun and activities for the staff and their families to enjoy upon their return after the half-term break.
The event went ahead as planned on the 19th of April, and our Hog Roast Blandford crew had the privilege of covering the catering for the afternoon, along with a team from Hidden Pizza and Fat Sam’s Ice Creams!
To ensure the guests were treated to an equally tasty and inclusive feast, our catering manager, Alistair, had gone over all of our food options with Mandie in the weeks before the event until she decided on our Classic Hog Roast Menu. As our signature spread, this menu is perfect for all sorts of events and occasions, and with the inclusion of a meat-free option for veggie and vegan guests, it certainly ticked all the boxes for Mandie.
Preparing to impress all 150 people with a scrumptious lunch, Hog Roast Blandford arrived at the school early in the morning, and thankfully, the weather was on our side! The skies were a clear blue, and as the hours ticked by, the temperatures began to pick up, which helped the hog roast to cook a tad bit faster.
By the time the event kicked off at 12:15 pm, the school grounds were buzzing! The other vendors had set up their stalls, bouncy castle activities were dotted around for the kids to enjoy, and senior members of staff were on hand to serve drinks to all of the guests.
The aromas from all of the different foods on offer filled the air, along with live music from Dan Baker, which had everybody in high spirits! The guests particularly loved the hog roast rolls that Hog Roast Blandford served, and the vegans were super pleased with our fresh and tasty grilled vegetable skewers.
