“All You Need is Love” sang the Beatles and love was certainly in the air at Poplar Farm in Kingston Seymour at the wedding for Lucy and Dan and Hog Roast Weston-Super Mare had centre stage for catering with a delicious hog roast for 180 guests.

In this case, our catering manager Martin liaised with Lucy and Dan to discuss dining options and they asked us to serve our slow roasted hog on a roll for the guests; whatever the menu you can always be guaranteed that the food that we serve will be delicious and mouth-watering! As with all of our menus, we can also tailor them for any particular or specific requirements and add desserts, starters, salads, fish courses etc. In this case the client asked if we could spit roast the hog to add extra effect to the event.
We arrived well before we were due to serve to setup and liaised with the client to determine best setup, access and serving time. Once Martin set up and started spit-roasting the hog, the delicious aromas caught the attention of some nearby guests who became immediately interested in what we would be serving. The feedback from many of the diners, was that they had not tasted a hog roast as delicious as this and commented at the taste of the crackling and meat that we served and the quality of our food.
