Hog Roast Yeovil is the perfect choice for your catering needs, regardless of the type of occasion you need catering or its formality. Our professional chefs and catering assistants are all highly-trained and qualified and always go the extra mile to ensure that our customers and their guests enjoy tasty food and service with a smile, each and every time, and that’s we have so much repeat business. We use fresh, local ingredients to create delicious homemade dishes, and though we are famed for our fantastic hog and spit roasts, we can actually make so much more if needed too.
For a wedding anniversary party that we catered over the weekend, Hog Roast Yeovil was contacted by Kristian, who was calling on behalf of his parents. They’d tried our amazing pigs in buns recently and while they were a clear favourite, they thought they would try something a bit different for this special occasion. We have an array of options available, various menus that you can choose from, and we can even help you to devise your own perfect menu if needed. Nevertheless, sometimes one of our own is just the ticket.
Kristian’s parents had read about our fantastic Southern Slow Roast Menu and thought the variety and choice it offered would be the perfect way to treat their guests. With your choice of three marinated meats that are all roasted low and slow and four hot or cold sides, plus a veggie option if needed, there’s no wonder that this Hog Roast Yeovil menu is so popular. You get to choose a trio from barbecued pork butt, Texan beef brisket, Cajun-spiced whole chickens, Louisiana sticky pork ribs and Creole-spiced lamb and four from a Greek or green leaf salad, coleslaw, corn cobettes, spicy sweet potato wedges, mac and cheese and skin-on baked potatoes.
For this party, we were asked to cook ribs, lamb, pork, mac and cheese, wedges and corn cobettes and to provide our homemade coleslaw. We arrived on-site at the village hall venue in the afternoon, and by 7pm, after hours of preparation and cooking, we had a great feast prepared for Kristian’s parents and plenty of hungry family and friends.
