At the beginning of May, Hog Roast Chippenham was hired to provide catering for a wedding event for Alex and Olivia. The couple got married the day before and were hosting a post-reception for lunch for the guests to enjoy. This was a great opportunity for everyone to gather together and chat about the day before, as well as enjoying some delicious Hog Roast Chippenham catering! Our manager Alistair was asked to provide a classic hog roast for 100 guests, served buffet style on disposable plates and cutlery.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Chippenham team arrived in advance of the 15:00 mealtime, with plenty of time to roast the hog to perfection. We began by cooking and slicing the meat, which was then served with sage and onion stuffing and applesauce in fresh bread rolls. For meat-free guests, we also served grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which was a delicious alternative. Alongside the mains, the guests enjoyed seasonal vegetables, homemade chips, and fresh salad leaves, which created a varied and nutritious meal.
Our catering went down a treat at this event and it was great to be a part of this special couples’ wedding celebration! The formality was ideal for the lunch and there was plenty for every guest to enjoy.
