Your Events Are Always Safe In The Hands Of Hog Roast Royal Wootton Bassett

Hog Roast Royal Wootton Bassett had the absolute pleasure of catering for Nigel and Sue’s wedding last month, which took place at the gorgeous ‘The Barn At The Brynich’ venue in Powys. If you’re unfamiliar with this truly magnificent 18th-century converted barn, it can be found nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, where it benefits from breath taking views of the Welsh countryside.

While getting to the venue involved a fair bit of travel for our catering crew, everyone here at Hog Roast Royal Wootton Bassett was more than happy to make the trip and help the happy couple celebrate their love for each other in the presence of their 70 guests. So, bright and early on the day of the wedding, our catering manager, Alistair, drove the team to the site.

Once our team had arrived and unpacked everything from the van, they quickly set up the cooking equipment and serving tables underneath the awning, protecting themselves (and the food!) from any bad weather that might’ve occurred. Fortunately, the day, though a bit chilly, remained rain-free. In fact, the sun even made an appearance – albeit brief!

Hog Roast Royal Wootton BassettAs for the food, Hog Roast Royal Wootton Bassett served a mouth-watering buffet, which began with a selection of canapé options that included pan-seared fillet of beef bites, beer-battered mini fish and chips, mini pizzas and chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce, all of which were served on eco-friendly wooden boards. Following on from the appetisers, the team presented our famous hog roast with all the bells and whistles, gourmet coleslaw, roasted potatoes and salads to the wedding party. For dessert, we offered each of the guests a choice of profiteroles or a light and fluffy cheesecake slice, both of which were beautifully arranged on bamboo plates. But our crew wasn’t quite finished yet…

Later that evening, the Hog Roast Royal Wootton Bassett team were back at the serving station again to prepare sausage and bacon rolls with fried onions and salt and vinegar chips with a choice of sauces, which was the perfect way to round off such a magical day.
