Presentation Evening – Hog Roast Chard

This year we think will be our biggest and best ever at Hog Roast Chard! Though we say that every year but each year we get stronger and stronger, customers old and new wanting us to cater for them. We are getting bookings for all kinds of events and this week we were out catering for a snooker club.

They were holding a presentation evening and they wanted food but good food they said and they heard Hog Roast Chard were the best! We were happy to hear that and said we would not disappoint. We arrived early evening giving us a couple of hours to get everything ready. They wanted a finger buffet and together we created a wonderful menu. The only food we had to cook was sausages, which we’d later place on sticks. Our sausages are one hundred percent pure beef and the best for miles!

Earlier that day we baked trays of sausage rolls, quiche, and cheese and onion pasties we placed these on the tables along with a fresh batch of finger buns to house the sausages. We made a good variety of dips some chilli dip, garlic and tomato. Then it was time to make the salads; potatoes salad, tomato salad and cheese salad. We placed a meat platter centre table with lots of delicious sliced meats along with some pickles and gherkins. We brought some sweet produce too some chocolate puddings and mini trifles.

When the presentation was over the guys came over and said they were amazed at the assortment of food we had to offer. The sausages went down really well we only serve the very best and it shows! The guests placed the sausages in buns filled them with heaps of salad and dips and filled their plates high with the rest of the Hog Roast Chard. The organiser said could we make this a regular thing and we said wed be happy to add them to our regulars. We left with a regular booking and that made our day! These days we never seem to leave an event empty handed our hard work is truly paying off.
